Looking to buy something along the line of a gesshin stainless or uraku or even any similar sized and similar stainless steel knife. Doesnt have to be BNIB buying it as a gift for a homie getting into cooking. Would also consider a nakiri or santoku.

it would if the guy didnt have a hard on for wa handles + im confident in the quality of anything from JKI so would prefer to snag an uraku or gesshin

i dont know if it helps, but the gesshin stainless 210mm wa-gyuto is restocking in the very near future (the boxes started arriving yesterday).
That helps a lot haha was sad to see them out of stock last night ill probably just buy it from your store once its back in stock then
