i would only leave the sticker on for comedic value. i admit that it adds some since it's TF.

if it makes you chuckle to see it, leave it on.

you could also heat it up with a hair dryer and carefully remove it with tweezers. then stick it on wax paper and put it in a cabinet. re-affix the sticker when you flip the knife as 'brand new, just did a couple test cuts and prepared a couple of meals' a year or two later.

BTW if you think TF’s “fire forged” sticker is ridiculous, take a look at this

I saw a Deadhead sticker on a TF Denka
A little voice inside my head said
“Don't look back, you can never look back”
I thought I knew what love was, what did I know?
Those days are gone forever
I should just let them go but...
ok, I confess I'm a bit of a photoshop nerd, I just had to do it!

a good sprinkling of rough sea-salt helps with the pesky glue traces left behind, FYI.
You can use the same green scrubby pad to do a once over of the blade too after you're done with the sticker.

I was friends with a Cadillac Rasta in college. A Trustafarian if you will. Followed Phish around for years until they stopped touring.

The trick is to use urine cat as washing detergent in the dishwasher. It force a nice and uniform patina in addition to removing the sticker. 💁‍♂️

He's trying to remove a sticker. Not quench a knife.

I took in many a Phish show in the mid 90s.
As in Marillion? Never saw them live but loved their music at high school. I was more of an ACDC aficionado who I did see multiple times

Edit: OK Wrong Fish. Never heard of a band called Phish

I'd rip it from the knife but will never remove my...... "Gas, Grass, or Ass" bumper sticker....
BTW 91% rubbing alcohol does everything acetone, goo gone does without the nast....

@dehory haha yes it was a blast to read. I really liked this part "Cats do not like to urinate into cup as I found out the right way"
😂
