I have noticed dictum.de now has the whole lineup of glass stone seven. these are 1/3 of the regular glass stones. but they are thicker maybe 7-8mm or so.
I think these would be very nice for noobs just starting out since they are cheap.
Everything from like 220 to 16k is available supposedly.
