Possibly. Or it might be from the state name postal abbreviation (OK) plus "city" (perhaps not unlike how New York City is called NYC).

Sorry i guess its a local term we just alway use. Oklahoma City "OKC"

Long story. Got hit by a tornado some years back...little more water under the bridge left me with a cheap set of henckels and an assortment of kuhn rikon stuff. Now I've added a shun 6" chef and a victorinox fibrox and a handful of dexter stuff to practice.
Ive become an avid fan of edc knives which led me here looking to get something better. The shun cuts well but after some time its clear it is not a crafted knife but rather maybe just a little better mass produced thing. I can do better.
