Hello everyone!
I am an avid home cook, but by no means a professional, mainly cooking for myself and friends. Four or five years ago, some friends pitched in to get me a Shun Premier Santoku and I loved it. I had some VERY old Henkels before that and it really opened my eyes to what a good knife could do. It was my daily driver for years, before I finally got the itch to see what else was out there and here I am some time later. I think it's pretty safe to say I'm completely hooked. I've still got a lot to learn and many, many more knives that I want and I hope to continue to educate myself in the world of knives and knife sharpening!
