Hello everyone🙂!
Selling one of my best works, gyuto with blade 240/57/3.9mm.
The blade is made of stainless damaskus sanmai with a central layer of steel REX121 67HRC, cutting edge thickness 0.1mm. convex blade geometry and a pronounced distal taper.
The knife is sharpened on synthetic stones up to 5000 grit.
The handle is made of stainless Damascus, stabilized mammoth tooth, stabilized Mongolian oak burl.
The price of the knife is $1460 including shipping.
Write to me and I will answer all your questions.

For those that do not know, before you even get into forging the damascus cladding, the billet of Rex121 at that thickness and height was probably hundreds of dollars, compared to something simple like AEB-L which is $4 for a foot. I wouldn't be surprised if over 50% of the asking price was raw material cost.

Andrei makes some of the best performance per dollar knives around, especially if you are into high end PM steels, but most probably know that by now. Always dreamed of a k390 or rex121 damascus gyuto from him. I have an s90v gyuto and a Rex121 petty from him that I love.

GLWS!

Thanks 🙂. I would not even think that someone might not know this!

It's not only the raw cost of the steel. Watch the Deadboxhero videos of him working this steel - you go through a lot of belts and it is time consuming.

This is a stunner of a knife. The cladding is beautiful, and with the REX121 core, it would be forever before you ever have think about thinning it.
