Hard to believe!

Its hard to believe that this hunk of steel will soon become a one of a kind damascus gyuto.. I love it!!!
Under all the forge scale on this piece is a beautiful damascus pattern.
Randy Jr. just finished forging this piece tonight. Its some of our Electric Xplosion pattern.

Ill post some pics of the progress along the way..

Here is the billet all surfaced and profiled..

OAL 14 7/8"
Blade, aprox 9.75" 247.65mm tip to heel. and is currently 2.88mm thick
height at heel 54mm

Heres a few on the bench right now. So if your waiting on a order. you may see your blade.. The larger damascus chef is a custom order and made from some of Jr's Reverb pattern damascus. Man I love the look of this stuff!

The 2 non kitchen knives are mosaic damascus. One is a order the other is for Pastor appreciation and will be presented to our pastor next Sunday! I better quit typing and get busy! lol The other 2 chef blades are 1095 HC
