I got two 240 gyutos in the same serien, one for me and one for a friend and I have to say, the edge was VERY bad imho. It was okey if you don't know anything about sharp knives, it took A LOT of sharpening to get it to where I wanted it, aka apexed and then polished and stropped. On the other hand, it seems there is a reason they are more inexpensive, you have to do the final work yourself. Other than that, solid knives which seem to work just fine.
The handles are quite big though.
They are not even close to fit and finish compared to my Shiro Kamos which I love.
