That is a Vendor forum, and uploading images is turned off for those not a Vendor.

I am trying to upload images of a new stone to "the sharpening station".

No matter how small I crop/reduce, they bounce as being too large of a file.

I have uploaded lots of images here before. Has the max image size been changed recently-

The size has stayed the same. Can you tell me how many KB or GB or MB that image is. It could be too small. Is it at 1000 kb?

I have not kept the originals during resizing. They would have started around 2.25 Meg before cropping, then been around 1 to 1.5 Meg before first times I tried to upload.

Latest iterations which failed to upload range from 228 Kb to 560 Kb.

(Edit)

And now it works. Gah.

Have I told you the one about the ghost of knife makers past? That haunt the forums and just when you think something won't work, it does work to make you look strange?
I'm just very glad it works. If it does not work in a particular forum, let me know so I can check settings.

It is now working only if I post a single image at a time, then must use edut function to post any additional images, also one at a time.

I have seen BOTH of the images I just posted here fail as "too large" while trying to post them in "the sharpening station".

Edit:

All images now are up. Thanks!

Hi, I’m new here and loaded some pictures to the site. I posted one in my new members thread which I can see fine. But, I have asked two other members and they can’t see the image?

Please let me know what the issue is and what I can do to fix it.

Thanks, Greg

@gregfisk I can see your image just fine, but there are some additional bits around it - how did you attach/upload it?

I uploaded from my phone which is what I took the picture with. It looks fine to me although surely not as clear as what's on my phone. Anyway, thank you for letting me know. Take Care, Greg

Here and there the servers have some hiccups - few weeks back it was not possible to upload any type of file for a couple of hours. But it is fairly uncommon.

If in New Members forum it was probably your first post and until approved, it does not act like a regular post. All should be fine now.
