Had some unexpected expenses yesterday and want to try my luck to sell two knives together quickly. Both of these knives are very good.
1. Halcyon Forge Gyuto
Size: I measured 237mm x 54mm
Steel: 1.2519 core with finely refined wrought iron cladding
Handle: Arizona Ironwood handle with African Blackwood ferrule; oval shape
Weight: 206.5g
Special finish: kasumi finished on Japanese natural stones
Condition: I don't have the full history, but the knife is in a great condition. Very limited usage as far as I can tell. I would personally be happy if someone sold me this knife as in likely new condition.
Additional comment: this is one of Joe's higher end offerings given the natural stone finish. The bevel is very lovely - as nice as Yanick if you ask me. I will upload a short video to show how nice the bevel is.
2. Tobias Heldqvist Gyuto
Size: I measured 232mm x 57mm
Steel: 26c3 core with historic wrought iron cladding
Handle: charred oak
Weight: 207.9g
Condition: I'm the first and only owner. Got it directly from Tobias. I commissioned it about 7 weeks ago. It has only seen some test cuts in a home environment.
Additional comments: just like almost every knife I have from Tobias, the cutting performance is amazing and will most likely put a big smile on your face as it has done for me.
Asking $1,300 including G&S fee, priority shipping with full insurance and signature confirmation in CONUS. Will cover the first $20 for outside of CONUS.
