Afraid I don't know anything about the knife, apart that it looks like some kind of takohiki, tho the handle looks more reminiscent of Chinese cleaver-style knives. Cool project knife whatever way

Haha! Yes it doesn't sound like it. Nice excuse to try making a wa handle for it tho.
