I have a home here in Sacto, and one in North San Diego County. I have been collecting knives for over 30 years; mainly USA made pocket knives from "between the wars". But I also have inherited some fine, handmade knives from my Japanese stepmother who passed away about 10 years ago. Since then, I have been accumulating more Japanese, European and USA made chef and butcher knives that I find locally at estate sales. In addition, I have recently acquired a collection of Japanese woodworking tools including plane irons, plane bodies, saws, chisels and waterstones .
