Excited to be on this forum!

I’ve recently been bit by the knife bug after visiting Japan and learning more about the master craftsman there.

I’m deep in the coffee rabbit hole as well and own a lot of espresso and pour over gear, and am always happy to chat about that if there’s anyone with overlapping interests.

In case you haven't yet, it's fun to check out Bernal Cutlery in the Mission District. (New location at the Ferry Building too.) I also found this nice article about the founders in the Chron.

I’ve been to Bernal (didn’t know they had a new location, great to hear they’re doing well and expanding) and actually took a chicken butchering course there which was fun. Thanks for the article and detail, it’s a really cool spot and nice people.
