Kewl! I've been beating that one to death and only touched it up a couple times.
how are you getting along with the iwasaki? its the best steel there is but i know you not a carbon dude 
I like it. Good retention and just a few stropping strokes makes it happy. Can't decide if I prefer the Heiji or the new blue Wat. Heiji feels just a little heavier and that grind...... It does have a couple birthmarks on it though.
i love wat grind, hate the steel.

Don is good for me, shorter and still the same. Thanks for the welcome! I like to make knives look new. Before and afters are always so ridiculous that they look like a different knife, especially if bevel work is involved.
