I like to cook and have always loved knives. Among my accumulation I have about 20 used Japanese knives that I'm slowly getting around to cleaning and identifying, hopefully with the assistance of the many experts on this forum. Live in the Kapiti district of New Zealand.

Welcome; from the otherside of the Tasman. Nice to have more antipodeans onboard . Only made it halfway down the North island. Beautiful country. I bet Kapiti is just as stunning as the rest.
