I'm Kevin and a chef who has worked in the UK, Holland, Bermuda and Washington DC. During my career I have worked in hotels, restaurants and event caterers.
I've also enjoyed performing cooking demonstrations and teaching. These days I write a well followed blog and teach online, due to Covid.
I've used a broad range of knives in my 40 years in the business (Henkels, Wustof, Victorinox, Sabatier, Dalstrong, and a few Japanese brands) but I hope to learn more about current brands and methods of production etc on this forum. Buying a good quality knife in a growing field of munfacturers can be difficult even for a chef so I'd appreciate any suggestions.
