Can any kurouchi finish be converted to nashiji?
I have a 10 year old nakiri and the finish is wearing unevenly, I've been toying with the idea of removing all of it but I don't want to go all in on polishing. Some knives like the Yoshikane SKD have a really nice look to them that I'm curious about trying to replicate.
