It’s not a collectors piece. Is a small logo Griswold. I was told only the large logo pans are the desired ones. Dunno, I just use it to cook. It’s my go-to tortilla warmer.
wife and I are thinking of going to an electric cooktop, and I don’t know if the pan is useable on a glass top stove. It would be a bummer if I can’t use it. I’ll prob use it as a camp pan.

really love it and the non-logo pan I got with it. It’s allowed me not to want a fancy new one. :D

I can confirm that it will work fine on a glass top electric stove. Have several similar ones. And don't listen to the fools. All cast iron is desirable.
 
If the pan has a narrow raised ridge around the perimeter on the bottom, it’s not geat for a glass cooktop. You want full surface contact. Otherwise, it’ll be fine.

this ^ very true, and easy to forget about.

ymww though – just test and see. i've used a standard lodge with a slight ridge on an electrical glass top with no problems at all – especially if you take your time to get it up to heat. theoretically, it could actually be a benefit when it comes for even heating, although definitely not for speed.

And if it does, that’s what grinders are for …. Just kidding … kinda.

I’ve used some with a slight ridge on glass with no problems. Bigger issue is that older pans that are no longer flat will spin on a glass top. Definitely wouldn’t give up one you’ve been using that long. They become like old friends.
 
I cooked on an electric stove for 13 years and I used a lot of cast iron. I developed a bad habit of cranking the heat to high until the pan got hot and then turning it down. Why would you want to give up on gas and go to electric? I would never go back to electric.
 
If you're going electric, go induction... unless you're sadomasochistically inclined.
Generally speaking as long as it's flat on the bottom and makes contact it should work fine on either.
