Thin grind, affordable and available in Europe. 372g * 218 * 107

That was my main knife for more than a decade. Will be back in the kitchen soon.

The picture of the whole knife is from the 600g version, but looks identical. sorry.

oooooh. A lil reprofiling at the tip!

Not intentional, but it’s fine and doesn’t bother me. Was still getting used to the (then new) belt grinder when I did the massive thinning on it, and I overground it a bit at the tip.

A well used CCK I assume?

Yes.

I've always wanted to try one of these out. Wish he would make more of them.
+ 1. I’m thinking a larger batch of these, in a simpler format to keep prices a bit lower and turnover quicker… like wa handle and belt working finish…

I know nothing about knife making but I believe cleavers are always a challenge to make - with such a large blade many things can go wrong (getting it straight for instance) and every step takes longes as a result

Yeah thin big blades pose a problem in quench. I'm tired so I can be bothered to find it, but @Isasmedjan had a post on Instagram where one turned into a banana. Same thing happened to Hyde for a cleaver for @BillHanna
