I’m looking to sell my ikarashi today. This is a great one and done stone for sharpening and is what I kept at work for my kit. Aggressive edges that are just refined enough to not feel like you’re sawing at anything.
I flattened one side and mostly flattened the other to test both out and have a level base for a stone holder. There is a hairline crack that appeared near the top while transporting it home that doesn’t effect use. As usual I don’t polish much and can only point you towards the example on JNS.
Paid $130, looking for $120 shipped.
