Hey, I held a Saji 240 with “coke bottle” contoured handle and was stunned by the in-hand feel of it. Full tang of course, but so is, say, the tojiro dp, and that didn’t convey nearly the same gravitas. Anyone know of any economical coke bottle handle gyutos? And by that I mean $200 or less…yaxell seems like the cheapest option (not technically coke bottle but has more of that rounded handle feel as opposed to the flat handled feel) but I swore I’d never buy a mass market knife again. Am I snookered?
