The clip point is not often seen on paring knives, IMO. The tang widens slightly to fit the handle design. And the blade widens slightly past the halfway area.
Two pins and a rivet in that short space; overengineered?
The tang looks very similar to other knives of that era; finished slightly past the bolster area and then unfinished the rest of the length.
