Hi all,

So I love using good knives in the kitchen, especially once that hold an edge. The past year I have found some old Carbon Herder & Sabatier knives. These are a lot of fun to clean up and use. Happy to join your community as there seems to be a lot of knowledge about the history of these knives present here!

Welcome. The ace of spades rivets on those Herders are awesome. Their straight razors are known for that trademark, but I haven't seen them on knives before. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Those are Friedrich Herder. Different company than Robert Herder ( who use the windmill as their logo). They still exist but they don’t seem to offer anything like this anymore.
