Well, I was supposed to retire at the end of 2020 but world events changed that! The place I worked closed down when COVID hit, so I’ve taken the year off. I got offered a great gig as exec but had to commit to the end of ‘22. But that’s okay. My menu, my training programs, my standards. And the high pay doesn’t hurt. Plus I’ll be running a smoker!
