Hi all,

I discovered this forum through a search for a very specific knife material and found one for sale... alas I can't reply in the FS thread because I don't have sufficient privileges yet!

I'm a native Californian, always been a big knife enthusiast but have only recently gotten into high quality kitchen knives. From a quick peek around here, I think I'll have a ton to learn and may have to shift around some of my budget priorities. Looking forward to interacting with all of you!
