Hello! My name is Bill and I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I collect, among other edged weapons, hunting knives. Being a relatively new collector, I rely on the internet to research difficult to identify knives. I ran into a conversation thread from your group and was impressed with the information given to someone. Looks like a great group!

Welcome. Which edged weapons and hunting knives are your favorites so far?

I really like Buck hunting knives. My Dad gave me one when I first started deer hunting. Gutted my first deer with a Buck 105. Almost any bayonet or sword that has seen time in any of America's wars. I recently purchased a German hunting knife with a Solingen blade. I can't find the maker mark anywhere. It looks a bit like a beer mug with 3 arrows sticking out the top. The handle could be the letter C. Can you, or anyone else, help me out with who made this one?

That's pretty cool! Did you have to do any sword-polishing on the swords and bayonets?
