Edit 6/27/24: Withdrawing to go custom hunting since the yen is weak; the hunt continues on another day.

Looking to snag a Wakui WH 240 since I miss my old one which was sold due to another WH custom coming in. (That being said, I'm now in the "you can never have too many WHs" camp so...)

I would prefer a burnt chestnut variant due to the better taper + not being a fan of the ho wood on previous models.

Condition doesn't really matter but preference towards one that has not been sharpened (stropping is fine).

Yeah, unfortunately I miss the beefiness of my old 240 in particular. This one is nice but it's more than a 240 at MSRP with the tamamoku handle installed + mini-spa. (I'm also a bit neutral re. the mini-spa since Wakui F&F is already great.)

Much appreciated on the look though as well! I think I'll leave a note here in the case that someone decides to sell in the future (i.e. open to buying even if this is withdrawn) but ATM it makes more sense to seek out some sick JP customs w/ the yen being weak :)
