Kaeru Kasumi Workhorse Gyuto 210mm with upgraded burned ho wood handle with buffalo horn ferrule

This is one of two knives I list with instant regret. This knife is a beast. Its the "poor man's Japanese workhorse". Its such a sick beast. The real problem with this knife is that I'm not sure what its particularly good at. I don't use it, I just hold it and admire its weight and heft. If you want an "entry level" workhorse" and can't get your western custom, this is your knife. Sick dimensions. I reluctantly post this one.
Also very good fit and finish in that the spine and choir are eased
Gently used, ugly patina. Never sharpened. Beast...
Per JNS: "extra thick and extra hard White 2 steel with Iron Cladding Hand-forged and Laminated

Edge 210mm
Height at Heel 51mm
Width of Spine at Handle- 6mm
Width of Spine Above Heel-4mm
Weight: 290g

I have a 240 wakui one of these and when I first used it, I kept pushing the knife into the cutting board because I hadn't realized that the knife had already dropped through the food. The mass means the produce doesn't stand a chance against the inertia so dropping the knife through food or through air feels very similar. Admittedly I don't reach for it that often, but it's fun when I do and different than anything else I have.

Were the 240mm Wakui workhouses a limited release or will they come back in stock in the future?
