Hello, I've started gravitating towards heavier knives, so this one barely gets any use.
240 kagekiyo b1 gyuto. One of Tanaka's best knives imo. Insanely thin, but doesn't feel too delicate. Sharpened once, never thinned.
The classic kagekiyo lacquer handle. Comes with box + saya.
There are some stray scratches/scuffs, but the knife is in great condition, just aesthetic "issues." It hasn't seen too much use since I bought it a few months ago. Selling to fund more knives Happy to remove patina on request.

Spine thickness middle: 2.3mm
Spine thickness ~1cm from tip: 1mm

Also open to trades (or partial trades in either direction)- would mainly be interested in midweight wa handled 210 /240 gyutos (no sakai 210s though, too small) maybe Toyama or Wa Denka or anything interesting really.

Is there a way we can tell if a Kagekiyo is Morihiro or Nishida? I've always wondered if there are any identifiable distinguishing factors between the two.
