Hi Everyone,

Recently got this knife about 2 or so days ago and used it once. This knife seems redundant in my collection and I'm looking to get rid of it for $220 + $10 -> $200 and free shipping. Knife came to be a slight bit of rust on the engraved kanji from shipping from the vendor. Heavily prefer to ship within the US.

Performance is really good. I would describe this as a workhorse and the F&F seems to be well above average. Very fun to use and I'm hoping someone could get more mileage out of it than me.

Can you give us some specs, including spine measurements? Also, that rust may be clay that smiths use when they're impressing. It's hard to tell one way or another.

This is very likely. The Kanji on my Ginsan Nakagawa looks very similar, and it's obviously not rust on mine.

They've only recently started making these since they're having their newest and youngest sharpener work on these, Max. He was an apprentice under Daisuke Nishida and Naohito Myojin.

Interesting. I wonder if they'll continue to make this line if he's left. He's also responsible for the Gokujyo line as well. Any idea why he walked away from them?
