Regardless of what the front kanji said. It’s 100% munemasa Shigefusa. The Shigefusa kanji is on the ura side but most of it has been sharpened off

No one is questioning your explanation. Simply informing the OP what the blade says.
Munemasa knives made by Iizuka should look like this on the ura side.
I'm not sure why the OP's deba is so worn on the ura side at that location.
