I am giving up on trying to source this direct from China (Czar Precision), and will try my luck here.
If anyone has one they're willing to part with please LMK.
Cheers!

Yes, I have seen those. I've had the tab for the US one open for months, but I'm too cheap to drop $200 on it . . . . for now at least.

Check out AliExpress -- you can get some pretty nice bridges for a lot less $.
I have, but it is difficult to judge on solely appearances. Do you have experience with any you'd recommend?
I've also had a surprising amount of trouble with the Chinese e-market sites. My partner speaks fluent Mandarin, but it may be location restrictions causing trouble. I've even tried VPNs to overcome that hurdle, but no success so far.

There's a knife shop from China on Taobao that carries these. I've since lost the link but they're much cheaper. Not sure about costs of shipping to you though.

I think that must be the same one that initially gave me hope, but when I try to create a Taobao account, it says I need to verify the account, and when I click on the verification link it tells me to create an account again. Vicious cycle. At first I thought it was me, but even my Mandarin speaking partner can't get it to register. So here I find myself.

That's interesting as it's possible to set up an account in Singapore. Though you should start with the international page before navigating to the item page. At least that's how it worked out for me.
