    SOLD

I bought this knife from a fellow on this forum in Germany a few years ago. (He had bought it from JNS and used it for a review that he published here before selling it to me.)

It was actually my first high end knife, but the reality was that I just didn't use it much. Prepping mushrooms was about all I've done with it. Other than touching up the edge with a Naniwa 3000, I have not done any work to it. It has solid patina, and you will notice one small indentation on the handle.

I did put this up for sale a year or two ago, but the sale did not work out, and I decided to keep it. Now, it's time to let it go.

There is enough market turnover on Kato's Gyuto's to calculate a price, but it's a lot harder with the petty. So, I'm going to post it at $250 net to me (that should be about $272 via paypal ahipped CONUS only) and see what happens.

Please see photos and contact me with any questions.

Damn, that's a deal right there. Seconds? Thirds? Fourths? Beautiful little Kato.

We can still make offers right? Until it's marked as sold it's still possible.

I'm glad you passed it along. It was a great introduction to Japanese knives!

I am missing it sometimes :) but as long as it is in good hands, I am happy.
