Katsuhiro Hocho

While doing some research here on the Hattori KD, I came across a mention of these knives which seem to be only available in Europe. Does anyone know anything more about them?? They seem awfully similar to the Tanaka Ironwood, are they made by the same manufacturer?

hm… interesting. I just forwarded this question to Shigeki Tanaka, asking if those knives are the same as Tanaka R2 knives. If I get any reply from him, I'll post it here.

I know this thread is ancient. But I wanted the answer fairly recently. I was talking to Mr. Tanaka (shigeki), and the katsuhiro are indeed made by him.
