Knife 1: Kipp 52100 Workpony 240mm x 55mm, 207.4g

Used, very good condition, minor patina, pine handle

Knife 2: Ikeda Shirogami 3 Honyaki 231mm x 47mm, 223g

Removed some sort of silicone(?) coating with acetone because the coating looked bad in pictures. Otherwise, BNIB.

Want to sell these two knives together. Asking $1,350 ($750 if you only want the Kipp, I will then sell the honyaki at $600) G&S fee and CONUS shipping included (priority with full insurance and signature confirmation). Will cover the first $20 for outside of CONUS.

WTT / WTB list:

1. Kamon Apex Ultra
2. Heldqvist Apex Ultra
3. Devin Thomas or Dan Bidinger Magnacut

Trade value $1,300 for the bundle or $650 (trade only; not cash price) for the Kipp

You are probably right. 43 seems a bit too low for a 240 gyuto :)
Let’s try this way. The picture shows some optical distortion / perspective due to focal length of the lens. This is a very tight fit. If I simply “soft” touch it, it read 47.83. I squeezed slightly just to be conservative and it showed 47.25.
