WTB Kiridashi

Bought one for polishing purposes and it’s on the thin side. It’s blue steel and double edge. It’s not bad for the price from Woodcraft.

Looking for a wider one possibly white steel and single bevel around 180-240mm. Have seen couple online but want to see if anyone knows or has any that works well on the stones (synths & jnats) with great details.

Someone suggested Etsy for wrought kiridashi for around $70 but I did not find any.

Also kana’s might be a good alternative too.

Concurred about Ryan’s kiri, that’s a real keeper!

Will let you know how it goes. They have some wider wood knives as well. I am still considering picking up one with wrought cladding, as it would be way more fun to look at .
