"Spinach? Cayenne? 😐 Let me see that recipe." - Me

"Oh, Spanish Cayenne." - New Cook

"You mean Spanish Paprika?" - Me

Fridge died Tuesday night.

Can't ***** as the old one was a cheapy that lasted close to 20yrs.

Lived out of coolers. Lost a ton of stuff!

Old house with narrow passages. Last time I bought a fridge, the doors didn't come hung. Now they do. Not only would it not fit through the passage into the kitchen area with the doors on, but they were hung on the wrong side. Nothing big but the wife and I aren't really up to fridge moving if we don't have to. Delivery dudes said the work order didn't call for pulling the doors. But, a couple Jackson's and they were more than happy to help.

New fridge up and running nicely.

Also, there are no "cheap" fridges any more. Not that I was necessarily looking for one but man, refrigerators have gotten expensive. Even simple models. Of course, the selection of simple models has shrunk so that contributes.

Does change up your cooking approach being without solid refrigeration. Not just in starting ingredients but in potential leftovers. Fell back to our camping days. :)

Not bragging because everyone’s anatomy is different, and high volume surgeons can get really good at this, but I took no pain meds and used no ice. If you’re considering this wonderful procedure, it can go either way.

I’ve heard that rectangular (cuboid?) balls can pose particular difficulties, however.

I am dangerously close to picking up a anova precision oven to replace my microwave, even though it apparently is fraught with technical problems and makes terrible toast.

But I’m also eyeing the ooni volt, because being a lowly apartment dweller the propane ones are off limits

Send help.
