Knives pics on stones

I'm curious if anyone has any bad experiences putting there knives on stones or other surfaces like granite counter tops etc., for the purposes of taking pictures, maybe I'm a little overly cautious on this subject.

Done it plenty of times. There will be no issues so long as you put it down and lift it off gently and make sure it doesn’t slip.

This, I do it all the time really.

I see alot of guys do it. It just makes me nervous. I would figure somebody would have some sort of incident.
