Nope it’s just the shadow.

They are sold as a 240 but the cutting edge is 230. Sakai knives are measured from machi to tip making which equals 240, but from heel to tip it's 230.

Yea the handle just looks like a typical konosuke ebony handle. Not sure why the title says ironwood.
