Hello KKF friends. A few of these have been on the BST lately, but I was distracted by some other purchases!

Looking for the following :)

Konosuke HD2 - 210mm
Konosuke MM - 210 or 240mm
Konosuke FM - 210 or 240mm

Hitohira Tanaka x Kyuzo - 210 or 240+ height

since you are looking for tanaka x myojin you could email kama-asa and see when they will have a restock on the tanaka/myojin blue 1(or white 2 if thats your jam, but his b1 is much better imo). i picked up a 240 b1 a few weeks ago and its been a fantastic knife, compareable to my kono fuji's. F&F on the handle wasnt kono level but ive been more than pleased.

also a considerably easier experience to get your hands on one that way rather than subscribing to tons of newsletters and hoping you can complete the purchase fast enough to beat a scalper.

Worth noting that you can commission custom specs from Kama-Asa if you ask nicely. I didn't pull the trigger in the end as I wanted a thicker spine than they could accommodate from the billet, but they'll do 3.5mm with a 53mm+ heel height etc. Lead time was about 6 months when I asked.

Tanaka would forge the billet into the rough shape before then passing on to Myojin for the grind (it may be going to someone else after that for finishing, i'm not really an expert on this).

My understanding was they couldn't guarantee a thicker spine than 3mm+ because of the size of the billet - by making the knife taller, you lose width, and then you'll lose width again when you do the grind. I'd recommend having a chat with them about what's possible, they're very helpful and transparent.

Sorry for derailing your thread slightly, but hopefully it's all helpful info.
