Came to NYC for weekend getaway.
Figure it’s a no brainer that I should stop by Korin.

In general summary, I really enjoy the visit, the staffs here are awesome, super friendly and professional.
In their shop they have a large variety of knives range from $80 USD up to little over 2K.
The room setup was very clean and searching friendly. They separated Yo handles and wa handles; wa handles on the right wall and Yo on the left, with the high end knives displayed in the center of the room and clearance aisle around the corner.

I believe if you are a professional chef or restaurant owner, this is the place to be. They have a large collection of top functional knife brands with reasonable price like Masamoto, Suisin etc.

I don’t think they do either. The stone looks smooth and doesn’t seem to be used that often.

I had a good time there Nevin, I would strongly recommend a visit there, if you are visiting NYC.
