Welp, car accident means knives are going in the wrong direction - out of my house. Let’s start with the ones I never use.

First time seller so please bear with me, I’m happy to fill in what I missed publicly or by dm. Let’s see. PayPal? I’ll pay the first $15 USD shipping?

First up, Kurosaki Raijin 240mm gyuto - a prototype from the inception of the raijin line, using a fujin blank (?). Damascus cladding, unique for a raijin.
- Used less than 10 times, edge touched up once.
- Sold as cobalt special core, but I think someone on here asked Kurosaki himself - VG10 it is. Easy on the stones and for deburring, this rendition.
- Typical hollow grind, although thinner than I had expected.
- Up for sale because I prefer convex grinds and don’t like stainless cladding. I doubt if there’s any kurosaki collectors out there* but it’s a unique one off. As such it’s an older, lower kurosaki grind.
-Let’s knock $100 off what I paid, $260 USD

Y Kato honesuki 150mm (masakage yuki)
- heavily used and sharpened, thinned once. It’s ugly and the hollow shows on both sides. Just by feel it might have lost about half a mm height. Thinned to almost zero grind, lightly convexed near the edge.
- white 2 stainless clad
- edge retention is meh, say 10-15 chickens with lots of significant bone contact before the tip needs touch up.
- I actually love this thing. Profile works well, easy enough to sharpen that touch ups take no time. Not a looker but very natural in hand (and bird). Last 3 photos are post thinning/polishing - if you want it cleaned up and flattened out it’ll take me a while but I don’t mind doing it.
- don’t use it anymore because single bevel.
- it’s uhh… well, it works really good. $125 USD?
Bad pics, my apologies.

Happy holidays guys 🙂

*of lower end blades. Absolutely no disrespect intended to Y. kurosaki, his top shelf stuff is wild.
