I have two excellent 240mm sujihiki and really only need one despite telling myself that it’s TOTALLY DIFFERENT because one is a weightier carbon wide bevel and the other is a stainless laser. But every time I pick up the Hinoura it just feels so perfect, which means I don’t need the Gesshin Kagero ... but every time I handle that one it also feels so perfect. Selling whichever and keeping the other. $200 for either shipped in US.

Gesshin Kagero, comes with a friction fit saya but it doesn’t actually stay anymore, probably a good idea to drill it and add a pin

Not in the market for a suji at this time but if I was that Hinoura would be *high* on the list.

Agreed, wide beveled + blue supered = awesome. Stainless though, like a shark with a friggin lazer beam 🤔

I can see why you're leaving the choice between them up to fate and to the fickle whims of those in the free market.
