Two beautiful Swedes:

Lila Nordanskiog: 270x70, 255g. Asking $250

First up is a big brutal blade from Lila Nordanskog. It’s Warikomi construction, soft steel over 52100. It cuts so well and has a great profile. Food release is wonderful. It’s just a little too big for me to use comfortably. I used it once and started the polishing process on the bevels with a king 800. I got some nice contrast out but there are a few small low spots still.





Steel by Lundbergs: 265x62mm, 310g. Asking $600

This is a gorgeous build, and was the first of its kind from this awesome maker. Pattern-welded 100 layers of 15n20 and uhb20c. Undersized rosewood handle scales and brass pins. It’s hefty but the balance and feel in hand is just perfect. Used one time, never stropped or sharpened.

Honestly was so surprised when I weighed it. It doesn’t feel nearly that heavy with how well it’s balanced.
