Little giveback

After over two hours cleaning out flume that drains from steep cliffs. Compound cutter, heavy duty rakes, hand saws. we found this skinny dog up there when I was walking back in the lead dog was with me I heard a pig in the upper edge of trail the dog took off into the brush shortly after came running out just as fast guess didn't want to mess with that pig. The PVC flume runs for little over a mile. it drains through a grate to a large raised pipe to the farms below. It gets filled with branches, fallen trees. Areas get like beaver dams slowing water flow. After couple hours hard work had the water flowing freely.

WHAT?!

what happened to the dog? the "give back" part was the cleaning or the dog rescue? both are admirable, but seriously, what happened to the skinny dog?

The dog followed us back to our cars. Liz the gal holding the dog took it to Humane society. Most pets have ear chips it did have a collar but no info.

Glad you were able to rescue that doggy - poor thing looks really scared in that photo.
