Longtime reader from Poulsbo Washington. I was a pastry chef in a previous life and have recently discovered the world of high-end cutlery mainly Japanese knives. I mainly hang out in Reddit, but I’ve been lurking around here for quite a while and figured it was time to sign up. Been collecting Japanese knives for the last six months have a decent collection of Sanjo and Sakai knives plus a bit of odds and ends. Most of my purchases have just been things that tickled my fancy and my taste of changed most definitely since I started. To me that’s the fun of collecting. I’ve been a member of other forums in the past and enjoyed it tremendously. Looking forward to making friends here as well, Michael.
