    Hi everyone.
I see that many have mentioned this maker, Mario Ingoglia.
His knives seem to receive praise and are highly rated amongst the members here.

However upon doing some of my own research, I couldn't find a way to contact him about his work. He has not posted here in a while or even logged on, his Instagram is inactive and his website is down. Does anyone know what might have happened to him?
I appreciate any info, thank you!
    :)

If I get to a thousand posts, do I get to unlock the secret history of the forum schism?

I’ve been wondering about Mario too. Thanks for the thread.

Mario is a really great guy. If he was up for making knives I think he would be visible online or on insta. If he is not making knives I don’t think anybody here is going to convince him to do it. He is an extremely talented knife maker but that isn’t 100% of his identity.

I think BST is your friend on this one...
I was talking to him last year. I think he has less time for knife making now as compared to the past.
His work is great. I've got a midweight in XHP from him that's a keeper.

I've also had my eye out for some time. If he's in a making mood, or if someone is in a selling mood...lump me in.

I agree Mario is a great guy to deal with... he seems to be taking all the orders he wants but I always used email with him. I know Instagram was also where he was selling stuff/taking orders

He is most active on Facebook actually, and has never been a full time maker. He does know his ****, and has been around for many years.

Just traded notes with him and he said his job is taking all his time and doesn't have any knives for sale.
