Marko suji in great condition.

Length: 250 mm
Height: 43 mm
Steel: A2

The grind is asymmetric convex, right handed. Handle is cocobolo D for right handed. Very nice, stiff suji.
Price: $500 to your door in CONUS.

Yep. That was the idea a suji that can be used as one knife to rule them all, works remarkable well too.

I imagine the angle of the edge relative to the handle also helps with this. Want it. Can’t buy it.

Hmmm, I'm thinking...it would probably be easier to convert you to a properly handed person, and I might just have a tool for it, cut here, reattach there....hmmm
It's a fair point. I've actually been working on my weak hand knife skills. My hope is that within the next 12 months that I'm able to be equally good with both hands.

I also want this Suji. Can someone give me a quick primer on A2 steel? I cant find much except its "tooling" steel.

Following is the best resource I can think of.

The summary is

It is more wear resistant than simple carbon steels such as 1095, white, 52100, O1. It is tougher than 1095, 01, white, but not as tough as 52100. It has more corrosion resistance than simple carbon steels and some call it semi stainless. Very good steel the way Marko heat treats it and holds an edge longer than his 52100 or AEB-L.
