Selling my Mazaki Blue #1 honsanmai gyuto. Got a really nice Taihei Jiro edition tagayasan handle with a blonde horn ferrule, bought from Hitohira. It spent ages sitting in a box, finishing polishing it last week, so it's only been used for a few test cuts and 1 meal, I can tell the heat treat on this thing is incredible, and the tip is like a suji, it flies through everything with ease. I gave it a full kasumi with fingerstones and a mirror core. Please see the measurements below:

Heel height: 53 mm
Spine thickness at handle: 5.75 mm
Spine thickness 1/2 way: 2.75 mm
Mass: 228 g

Only looking to get back what I paid, $750 for the knife, $100 total for the handle.
