This is one of the 2019 profiles, really nice grind on this one, very much a workhorse. Never thinned, really excellent performer, really thin at the tip, feels nimble for its size. Please see the measurements below:

Blade length: 245 mm
Heel height: 52 mm
Spine thickness at handle: 6.25 mm
Spine thickness 1/2 way: 3 mm
Mass: 240 g

Bought for £290 in the UK, price is $250 (inc. PayPal fees) + shipping

Dang. I love this. I have quite a few of his. Didn’t even know about a ku finished one. Glws

Yeah it's really nice, I'd only seen these at kitchen provisions in the UK (out of stock now), but I'm sure there are a couple of other places these smooth KU ones could be found, but they're definitely less common than the KU nashiji ones. It feels real nice to use, and I love the grind!
